The ongoing battle against the COVID has been a long and hard one and researchers around the world are battling to find a suitable method of treatment (or) cure people of the virus. Even if the death rate of people affected by the virus is considerably low(roughly 3.4% worldwide) the virus is contagious and still causing a lot of problems to people by having some devastating long-term effects on their bodies.
However, Vaccines are being developed at a rapid rate and people have also got considerable awareness about the usage of vaccines and the need for vaccination and the numbers are constantly increasing worldwide. It is to be noted that in some countries(like Israel) where 100% of the population being vaccinated suddenly started to show an increase in the number of covid cases in the past few weeks.
Some countries have also complained about the efficacy of vaccines which are provided by some of the major players in the domain of pharmaceutical sectors and noticed that the efficacy of vaccines has been lowered considerably to 60% with the people affected by the delta variant and the if the research findings are to be true, it is to be noted that the virus which affects the internal system has started to evolve at a rapid rate and in few months, the vaccines might be highly ineffective.

Most of the industries have urged the countries to take a Booster dose to improve the efficacy but their efforts are being faltered by the rapid rise of the Delta Variant and most of the people have not completed both cycles of the vaccination.
Among most of the vaccinations being used around the world, the one which certainly raised the eyebrows of other nations was the Emergency approval of Zydus's COVID vaccine named ZyCoV-D, which is the World's First DNA Vaccine which has to be taken in three doses and doesn't involve the usage of needles(ID Delivery)!
The Company also reported that it had the largest clinical trial operations compared to other vaccines that are in the market as it was done over fifty centers and also tested for the age group of people from 12-18.
The clinical trial results for the Vaccine are also found to be positive with showing a primary efficacy of 66% and found to be 100% effective after all three doses have been completed.
With the finding of new vaccines and with other vaccines concerning COVID-19 are in the pipeline of some major companies it is sure that we can have a permanent solution in the long term!
